The Challenge
CDMM (UK) Limited operates across building services design and health & safety consultancy from offices in Inverness and Stirling. Robust management systems, regulatory compliance, and increasing ESG expectations are essential to support consistent service delivery across both locations. Following a third-party recommendation, the business sought support to review and strengthen existing documentation and achieve UKAS-accredited ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, while ensuring systems genuinely supported frontline delivery. As the business developed, the scope expanded to include ISO 45001 and broader sustainability requirements.
The Process
All policies, procedures, and operational processes were reviewed in detail, working closely with the core team across both locations. The focus was on simplifying documentation, improving consistency, and aligning the integrated management system with how the business operates day to day. ISO 45001 requirements were fully incorporated, alongside practical ESG and sustainability controls embedded within normal business operations, ensuring consistency across Inverness and Stirling without unnecessary complexity.
The Solution
CDMM (UK) Limited now operates a robust, fully integrated, UKAS-accredited management system aligned to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 across both locations. Streamlined processes and clearer controls have improved frontline operations, reduced non-conformances, and strengthened governance. ESG and sustainability requirements are embedded into operational decision-making, providing a strong, sustainable framework that supports quality, health & safety, environmental responsibility, and continued business growth.
