The Challenge

At the time of engagement, the business already held ISO 9001 certification, however, the system required updating to align with the latest version of the standard and to better support evolving operational and client requirements. Following a recommendation, specialist consultancy support was sought to modernise the quality management system and develop an integrated framework capable of supporting long-term growth, workforce safety, and increasing ESG expectations.
The Process
Working closely with senior management, a phased and practical approach was taken to update the existing ISO 9001 system and integrate ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 into established engineering, welding, and project delivery processes. The focus was on aligning systems with real operational practice, supported by regular workplace inspections, auditing, and hands-on advisory input. Environmental, health & safety, and sustainability requirements were embedded into day-to-day operations, ensuring ESG responsibilities were managed consistently and proportionately.
